Our FREE signature 3-hour (11 km) guided ramble, is a must for any day visitor, we will explore lesser known aspects of the city's history, culture and literary significance. Walking into semi-rural countryside, we take in views of the city and learn why its georgaphy made it so desirable for the Romans, Saxons and Normans. The ramble visits some hidden gems, including a holy well and the beautiful River Stour, before proceeding back to the city centre.
